This will ensure that none of the previous traces of AVG are left on your computer and you have an updated version. After the computer reboots, please follow the instruction (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Internet-Security-or-Premium-Security) to download/install/activate AVG Internet Security.

Hi all,

I get this error message when trying to download the new version of AVG Internet Security, 0xe001F992, saying I already have the latest version but I haven't downloaded it before. I used AVG Remover and got rid of Remover itself, then tried to download again but same error message. Could you please help? I'm on Windows 10.
