Only recently loaded AVG ultimate. All seemed to be working fine, but now showing error code 0010052. All other internet based programs e.g. Spofity won't load either.

Do you get this error code 0010052 while trying to open AVG Ultimate? Could you share the screenshot https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=en&urlName=How-to-create-a-screenshot&supportType=home of that error message? Have you optimized your PC using AVG PC Tuneup recently and put some programs into sleep mode?
