Hi,
I've run the AVG_Remover, the AVG_BFEfix and the AVG_ResetAccess tools and still I get the same error. What can I do to fix it and get AVG Free antivirus installed?

Thank you for your response. I have downloaded AVG Remover and run the program three times.
On the first occasion, it listed AVG Protection and AVG PC TuneUp, so I removed AVG PC TuneUp.
On the second occasion, it listed AVG Protection and AVG Performance, so I removed AVG Performance.
On the third occasion it listed only AVG Protection, so I cancelled the program and assumed that AVG PC TuneUp and/or AVG Performance were completely removed.
I then ran AVG Zen and reinstalled AVG Performance Pro. This appeared to install correctly, so I then tried to run the program to perform a scan and set up routines, etc. The program shows up as AVG PC TuneUp, but does not load and hangs with only the rotating circle symbol showing. Any suggestions for sorting this out? Personally, I am confused between AVG PC TuneUp and AVG Performance Pro, although I don't know whether this has anything to do with the problem.

I have tried several times to install or repair PC TuneUp. Process always fails with message:
Sorry we've experienced a problem during initialization
Error Code: 0xC0070643
Description: Event exec_finished
Any ideas?

Hello Stephen.
I understand that you are quite confused with AVG PC TuneUp, Performance and Zen.
Let me make this clear to you.
AVG PC TUNE is performance software which requires license key to activate and can be installed on limited computers based on the purchase (eg: 1, 2,3 upto 10 computers)
AVG Performance is same as AVG PC TuneUp but it doesn't require license key to activate the product and it can be installed in any number of computers.
AVG Zen is just the interface the manage the AVG PC TuneUp and Internet Security together.
