I purchased a license to AVG Internet Security less than a year ago, but over the past month AVG has been showing the following notification, without any input on my end.

"Your license is now activated, and your new AVG Security can now be installed"

Upon clicking "Install Now", AVG instead notifies me that the installation failed, due to error 0xE001F90F, Set mode (2)

Looking through the forums, I've tried uninstalling AVG Internet Security using "AVG_Remover" and "avg_remover_stf_x64_2015_5501", but the problem keeps coming back even after multiple rounds of un-installing and re-installing.

Is there a patch or fix available for this software error? It would be extremely unfortunate if this bug rendered the user experience of AVG Internet Security to be an incessant nightmare.

i think that after more than 6 years usung AVG i will go to another software because you zen
