I apologize for the inconvenience caused. This is a bug which is already fixed and I would request you to try the installation now and let us know if the issue persist.

Have new activation code for AVG Ultimate which is available for download in my AVG account.
Have tried to install on several occasions but each time get message saying it has failed with error code 0xe0060006 you need to be connected to the internet.
I am connected to the internet so don't understand that response.
Have used AVG Remover Tool to remove all trace of AVG from my Windows 10 desktop and have tried to reinstall AVG Ultimate but still get the same failed message.
What is the solution? Thanks

I am having exactly same issue and try installation just few minutes ago but still having the same erorr code. I have removed AVG using also AVG remover too. Please kindly help how to overcome this bug as it is very annoying. Thanks in advance.

Please try installing AVG Ultimate using the offline installer https://www.avg.com/download.prd-gsl
NOTE: Please download the correct bit version file for your operating system.
Keep us informed about the status.
