Please make sure there are not any conflicting antivirus applications installed on your PC.
AVG Remover tool detects only traces of AVG 2017 and earlier versions. I'd request you to download and run AVG Clear tool also to remove traces of 2018 or later version AVG apps and try installation.

I just purchased AVG Ultimate and can't get it to install. I keep getting a message that says – Installation failed. Sorry we ran into a problem during installation. Find out what might have gone wrong. OxC0070643: General error (0x0643). I tried installing AVG removal tool but I still get the error. Does anyone know how to fix this and go on with my life? I sure didn't think this would take so much time just installing virus protection. Thank you.
