Error connecting to avg server

Hi Terri,

We would like to few information and proceed further on this matter.
Provide the screenshot of message that says "it cannot connect to AVG server".
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Do you get this error when AVG Antivirus is turned off?
Open AVG Antivirus interface. Click on "Menu–>Settings–>Troubleshooting–>Passive Mode".
Use On/Off slider to turn off the protection temporarily.
Keep us informed about the status.

Thank you for waiting, Terri.

I request you to initiate a scan on Mac device with the antivirus installed on your device.

These notification messages seems to be coming from Time Machine. Go to system preferences > Time Machine and turn that off to check with the status.

I was emailed a PDF form to RSVP to an event.  The PDF form had a submit button.  I selected it, but it didn't submit.  I had to email the response to the company.  I now get error messages stating it can't connect to avg server.  I have deleted the form, rebooted my laptop, etc.  I can't stop these darn error messages.  Can you please tell me how or should I complain to the business who sent the form and must be using your software?

This has been going on for 2 weeks.  I have clicked on okay.  I have rebooted my laptop.  I have removed all evidence of the PDF form that was to automatically return to the business.  Nothing works.  I cna't make this error message go away.  I guess I need to call the company who created the PDF RSVP form and tell them that AVG has messed up my MAC and probably a lot of others who they have invited to attend their convention.
