Error message keeps poping up using AVG Secure Browser

Kindly disable the Privacy guard in AVG Secure Browser and check the issue using the follow steps.
To disable this feature > Open AVG Secure Browser > Go to the Security & Privacy Center and click the green (ON) slider on the Privacy Guard tile so that it changes to gray (OFF).

If the privacy guard is causing the issue then please add the websites to exceptions using the below steps.
To always allow ads on a particular website:
> Open AVG Secure Browser and go to the website that you want Privacy Guard to ignore.
> Click the green Privacy Guard icon to the right of the address bar so that it changes to red (OFF)

Hello,
Recently when I'm using AVG Secure Browser and opening my email in yahoo and on other websites like my Sutter Health account pages the AVG browser tends to stall and this message (This site can't be reached ERR_FAILED and a cartoon picture of guy in space suite and two planest next to him show up below message)  pops up before it sends me to next page. Sometimes it hangs on this message and I have to force it forward. I tried resetting browser to default setting, no changes. Any ideas how to fix or what’s going on? Does my system have a virus? I have run AVG virus software many times as well as Malwarebytes, no issues found. This doesn't happen if I use Firefor, Chrome, or Microshoft browsers so it has to be a AVG Secure Browser issue. I tried to post a picture (print screen) but doesn't seem to be a way to add a picture on here.

Hi Lathika,

I took your sugestion and turned off the Privacy Guard and it seems to almost eliminated the problem. I only saw the error screen pop up once in the past few days. I have two questions:

-What are the down sides of turning off Privacy Guard.
-Why was the Privacy Guard causing the issue to happen?
