Since the most recent update of my AVG Free anti-virus protection was applied to my system, after rebooting my AVG software is not working properly. It gives the error message indicating "api-ms-win-core-synch-I1-2-0.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error." It suggests reloading the original program to resolve the issue. It has a small red circle with a black exclamation mark on top of the Antivirus Free Basic Protection button on the AVG dashboard. On the next screen it indicates that "My Computer" and "Web & Email" are not protected. Has anyone else had this issue after an update, and what can be done to resolve it? I have tried clicking the "Fix" button, but it is unable to fix the problem.
