AVG might have detected those programs as suspicious that could be the reason why it blocks from updating.

We request you to add those programs to AVG's exception by following the below instructions:

AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > General > Exception

If you think those programs are legit to use, then you can submit those programs to our developers to analyse and to whitelist it.

I am trying to update one of my programs and AVG keeps stopping it saying it is not secure, is there anyway to bypass this with an exception so I can get the software updated next time this happens? I had to disable AVG to update it this time
