Exclusions List

Hello Jagan.
We would request you to try disabling AVG self protection temporarily and then try to move the folder. If AVG is detecting any application, file or URL falsely, we would request you to submit a sample as described in this article ( http://avgclick.me/reportafalsedetection ). Thank you.

Hello Jagan,

We request you to keep your whole conversation on a single post.
Please have a look at your other post via https://support.avg.com/answers?id=906b00000008tbF .
We certainly understand your concern but as far as my knowledge the replace of files is not possible, However, will escalate this to our higher level team and once they reply will post it here.
Keep checking this post. Your patience is much appreciated.
Thank you.

It just so happened that all my exceptions disappeared. I had a large list of files like Sardu.exe which were detected as virus by AVG. I had included such files that I knew were definitely not a threat to the exceptions list. Now that the list is empty, I have to keep adding them  again. I found a dat file "exceptions.dat" in "C:\Users\All Users\Avg\AV\DB" installation of Windows 7.The same named file is found in "C:/Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Avg\AV\DB" in the installtion of Windows XP. But this file is read only and can not be replaced by a copy made earlier. Any workarounds?
Jagan.
