False Positive hoses thinkorswim

Looking in the virus vault AVG is flagging IDP.ALEXA.51 for both thinkorswim and streetsmartedge.  It is being flagged in DLL, REG, and EXE files.  Virusvault is showing the threat as …

c:\users\kevin.thinkorswim\protocols-1468846557538.reg

That file no longer exists in the directory.  There are 6 other files in that directory all as protocols-xxxxxxxxx.reg (where xxxxxxx is a 13 digit number).  I suspect thinkorswim updates the application with a new reg file each time they update their software, or each time I change application settings, or each time I start the program (I can't be sure).  But there is clearly something in there that AVG doesn't like (note that Norton which I was using until last week never flagged thinkorswim as a problem).

If I go into Identity Protection Results AVG shows the IDP.ALEXA.51 as a threat in the following.
c:\program files\thinkorswim\thinkorswim.exe
c:\program files (x86)\schwab\streetsmartedge\ssedge.exe
c:\users\kevin.thinkorswim\protocols-1468846557538.reg
c:\program files\thinkorswim\nptossc.dll

I'm not exactly sure what IDP.ALEXA.51 is as when I click more information AVG's website just lists it as a generic virus but it looks like it should be white listed for both thinkorswim and streetsmartedge.

Thank you.

I logged a tech support request but want to put this out here so that maybe someone can help or at least others can search and see the problem.

Installed AVG antivirus about 4 days ago.  No problems until this morning I went to run thinkorswim (TDAmeritrade's trading platform) and AVG flagged it as a threat and quarantined the programs.  It did the same thing when I tried to run Schwab's trading platform StreetSmartEdge.  When I restored the quarantined files StreetSmartEdge seems to be working fine but thinkorswim produced an error and would not run.  I reinstalled thinkorswim and again AVG flagged it as a threat and when I tried to create an exception AVG failed to create the exception and thinkorswim is just hanging and I can't get it to run.

This is a huge problem is AVG can't allow valid programs to operate.

Any ideas?  Thanks.

Aravindh - Free version.  Where do I find the license number?

Alan - Thanks. I'll keep this link in mind in the event the problem pops up again.

After reinstalling thinkorswim a 3rd time it is now working.
