Hello,

Thanks for the response. I attached the file to the email. To bypass email filtering, I renamed the syncthing-1.23.7-setup.exe to syncthing-1.23.7-setup.txt and added a password to the zip file. The zip file password is notmalware. You will need to extract the zip file, which will extract the file syncthing-1.23.7-setup.txt. You will need to rename syncthing-1.23.7-setup.txt to syncthing-1.23.7-setup.exe and then submit syncthing-1.23.7-setup.exe as a false-positive. Please advise when completed.

Regards,

Bill

Thank you for updating the status, Bill.

As I mentioned in the email, I've already forwarded your concern to our false positive analysis team.
They'll analyze the setup file and contact you via email as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, your patience is very much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

The file is less than 50MB. Please see here:

Releases · Bill-Stewart/SyncthingWindowsSetup · GitHub

You will see there that the file syncthing-1.23.7-setup.exe is only 23 MB in size.

I have cleared the cache and all settings and tried Firefox, Chrome, and Edge. All give the same error condition when I attempt to upload the file.

Please try it yourself: Download the syncthing-1.23.7-setup.exe file from the above site and attempt to submit as a false-positive at False Positive File Form

Please reply back to this thread after you have downloaded the file yourself and submitted it as a false postive, and report your results.

Regards,

Bill
