We regret the inconvenience caused.
We're aware of this disruption & we'd like to inform you that we've consulted the situation with our development department again. In the end, we decided that we would not detect the folder where the Quick access information is located during the tests. This change should be visible as soon as possible.
In the meanwhile, we recomend that you do not to delete the Quick Access folder until a fix with a solution is released.
Please follow the below path & uncheck the 'Jump List temp files' option under the AVG TuneUp 'System Junk' scan results.
'Free Up space > System Junk > Program temp files > Jump List temp files'.

May I know has this issue been resolved yet in the latest versions?

A recent development is that my Quick Access pins in File Explorer disappear when AVG or AVG Tuneup does an update.  I am using AVG 21.1.3164 (build 21.1.5968.646), and AVG Tuneup 21.1 (Build 2523).
How do I stop this from happening?  It is very frustrating.  I thought it was a one time thing, but it has happened 4 times during the last month.
Using Windows 10 on a Asus Laptop.

Hello Imran, 

Currently, we do not face this kind of issue in recent version of AVG Tuneup. Could you please update or reinstall AVG Tuneup latest version and let us know whether you are still getting same issue?
