Hello Holly,
I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused. If you are sure that the file in question is a legitimate and not infected, please add it to AVG exceptions list as suggested in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-exclude-file-folder-or-website-from-AVG-scanning .
I am having the same issue except even still added to exception it will still do it randomly.
I am trying to install a file from the Open University, its one of the key programs I need to use for my degree. The file…exe keeps getting moved to quarantine, if I restore the file from quarantine, go to open the program it moves the file back in to quarantine, so I'm in an endless cycle of being unable to open a clearly safe program. AVG, how do I keep a file out of quarantine other then removing AVG?
