I have a Win11 desktop and a Win11 laptop on a home network. The desktop runs AVG.Internet Security 25.3.9983a on subscription.
Connections from the laptop to shared folders on the desktop are blocked. ("Windows cannot access \Desktop, with error code 0x80070035)
Disabling AVG on the desktop immediately gives the laptop access to the shared folders, and re-enabling removes access again.
Some other posts on this matter refer to items/menus in the AVG IS interface that are not on my version.
Any ideas?
Same problem here…I use the build 25.4.10068.0
tried several things but the truth is I didn’t change anything, but the update. so it worked before, and now it doesn’t.
Make sure the network profile in AVG Firewall is set to Trusted/Private.
File Sharing is blocked on public networks to protect you at places like Hotels and Coffee Shops.
