Quicken has a continual nag to upgrade it's product each time I run the program. I only use Quicken for local processing of data and don't need the program to access the internet. None of the 'fixes' in the Quicken community work. Someone found a setting to block URL access via Windows Firewall but I am using AVG. I've read your other links in this community. Is there nothing that can be done? Do I need to stop using AVG and rely on Windows protection in order to solve my problem?

I understand that you wish to block Quicken program from accessing Internet in your PC. Please open AVG Internet Security->Menu->Settings->Component->click on 'Firewall' component->then select 'Application rules' option-> click on 'Quicken' application and you can see four vertical lines. In this, click the shortest line to block the application from accessing internet.
