I have windows 10 installed & yesterday for no reason I was unable to connect to the internet by both ethernet cable & wifi.
I disabled thefirewall ( not recommended) and everything works fine.
My son's laptop has now done the same thing following an automatic windows upgrade.
Is there a fix to this problem.

To everyone having an issue with ethernet or network connections after an update:
Go to network connections > right click properties > uncheck AVG network filter driver
This will avoid hours of the frustration we had trying to find out how to fix the issue. I only saw it by chance. Good luck!
