Hi Len,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
From your description, it seems that few firewall settings on your computer needs to be modified.
Please try enabling the below mentioned settings :
Open AVG Internet Security - Menu - Settings - Full protection - Enhanced firewall - System rules (right pane) - Enable first 2 options (Allow windows file & printer sharing, remote desktop connections).
If issue persists, please try changing the network profile to public or private.

I have read through lots of support answers but none work for me.
Recently my "connect to wireless display" has stopped working to my Samsung Q80 TV. I'm using a new laptop with windows 11. I have tried to troubleshoot but to no avail. The simple cure is to turn off AVG firewall and it connects no problem.
I have tried to create rules etc for the specific IP address of the TV, I've checked the "internet connections sharing mode" tab amongst others.
I could simply turn off firewall when I need to use it wirelessly but that sort of defeats the point.
You will note on my original post I have already done this.
Thanks for the reply. The first 2 options in system rules were already enabled. I have switched from public to private and vice versa but still the same issue.
