While verifying your account it seems that you have upgraded from the AVG Internet security to AVG Protection Multidevice. We would request you to run AVG remover tool to completely remove AVG and then re install it.
Please click this link http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download and run the AVG Remover tool.
1. Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.
2. After the remover tool process is successfully finished, restart your computer.
3. After the restart, manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of My computer.
Hello, I need help with my new AVG protection, I had the 2015 version, decided to buy the 2016 in store.
What I did today is I uninstalled the 2015 one and reinstalled the 2016 one. It detected that I had the same product and asked me to renew the license, so I said yes. When I installed… I logged on to get my PRO stuff, yet the firewall tab is not there… but I had it with my previous one.
Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? I bought the 59,99$ CAD one.
- Once uninstalled download the installation file using the link : http://www.avg.com/download to reinstall your AVG program.
5. Run the downloaded file to start the installation process.
6. Follow the instructions on your screen.
7. Complete the installation and restart your computer.
