Try (disabling AVG Internet Security) temporarily to check whether it resolves the issue with Chrome and internet.

I am thinking that the Firewall within AVG is blocking my Chrome browser to load. I own it. It takes too long loading consequently, the home page of my ISP will not load - taking too long. Also if any other webpages takes too long I get the same message that it will not load - taking too long. Can you help me to change any settings so this does not happen.
