Force Uninstall

Hi Zach,

We'll help you to get this issue resolved. We request you to share the screenshot of the installed apps from control panel, also share us the screenshot of the message that says AVG being used or is open somewhere else to verify and assist you further.

Thanks,

I have a problem getting rid of all AVG services. I have to my knowledge, tried everything. I have tried to uninstall the software through the control panel as well as other means like Revo Uninstaller and IObit Uninstaller. They claim that they are successful in uninstalling AVG, but it was obvious they are still there, within the file system. I can't even open AVG, either. When I try double-clicking on any AVG software or running it as an administrator, it simply will not open. When I tried downloading the AVG Removal Tool and AVG Clear, I successfully downloaded them, but once again found that I could not open either one.

I then booted into safe mode to manually delete the software, first by going into the Temp, %temp%, %appdata%, and %programdata% folders to delete any remnants of AVG that were located there, which I did successfully. But when I tried running the AVG Removal Tool in safe mode, it once again wouldn't open. I then tried manually deleting the AVG folders within the file system, which all worked except for getting rid of the AVG PC Tuneup. When I try to delete it, there's a message saying it's being used or is open somewhere else, even though I'm positive it's not. I've officially run out of ideas, any help would be great

Thank you for the screenshot.

Please restart your computer in safe mode with networking http://avgclick.me/rebootintosafemode and remove all the traces of AVG manually from your computer.
