Well I had smiliar issue pc was working fine, installed AVG did reboot and was stuck in repair reboot loop, safe mode not working. Support on call told me to restore system. Did it issue persisted. Was forced to do full hard format and windows reinstall. Only change before issue was installation of AVG I believe it's an edge case but I just lost all data. It should be investigated and fixed. I wonder if I should ask for refund since I'm scared to try another installation again. Setting up everything is like 4 hours so yeah.

I've had AVG on my PC for about 2 years. My PC started getting slower and slower and I couldn't figure out why, AVG then offered me a 30 day free trial. After installing and doing a full check nothing new was done about the problem.
I restarted my PC and it ran even slower then normal. I restarted again (because the problem before got worse after about 20 minutes of use) but this time it couldn't boot. I ran safe mode and found the process stopped at a driver called avgbidsha (or something similar).
As my PC wouldn't load at all and the only previous backup also had the new avg trial installed so I factory reset (with the option to save personal data). This still doesn't work, infact it kinda works even less than before as it has problems entering safe mode.
What can I do to get my PC back to normal? Can I replace a part? Is there a way to delete drivers? I read somewhere that I can burn a restore CD. I've never had a problem like this, and never built a PC.
I have an acer aspire x3470.

No, starting up my pc doesnt load (as stated above) it tries to "repair start up" but cant, so it restarts and keeps repeating the cycle, my pc is as good as dead. litterally need to be told how to scrap everything and reinstall everything.
Im trying to factory reset it again but its at 0% 3hours elapsed. last time it was at 12 hours 2% then started installing factory settings so i think something went wrong, having this AVG driver has screwed with the whole process.
Pressing f12 on start up doesnt show me what drivers are currently loading in like it did before (that showed me it was 3 avg files last loading in avgbidsha being the last before crash)
also on start up it shows the windows logo but doesnt have a scrolling loading bar like it did before...
Josh, I understand this must upsetting and it was unfortunate to happen.
In your case, I request you to try AVG Rescue CD as mentioned (here).
Keep me informed about the status.
