Hello Cheryl,
We are sorry to know that you keep getting the pop-up to restart your computer. This can happen, due to an incorrect update. Please open the AVG program and click on Options->Advanced Settings-> Update. From there check "Complete at next computer restart". This will fix this issue.

Every 2-3 days a box pops up from AVG directing to restart computer so that updates may be installed. This is a relatively new occurrence, but has been going on for approximately 3 months.  Has something changed?
