Hi Phil,
AVG will detect potential threats and suspicious files, URL's you can either move it to quarantine or delete it from your PC.
To add the particular extension in Mozilla Firefox, use the link below.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/android/addon/fvd-video-downloader-free/
If AVG still detects the same add-on as a threat, please take a screenshot of the threat pop-up to check and assist further.
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on "Answer" & then click on the "Image" [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
So I've had FVD for years and it has never caused me an issue. Until today when the totally fabulous AVG saw it as a threat and deleted it- what an absolute asswipe of software. This add-on is no longer available to download due to mozillas change of terms and so I'm wondering if AVG has this software hidden away somewhere just blocking it or has it wiped it from my pc, which I will be very annoyed at if it has
Thanks
it was a much older addon of the same name which was better but was removed from the addon store. any chance AVG has removed it and saved it into a location or has it just deleted it
