Hi. I recently installed AVG VPN on my system and I can no longer send or receive email (Gmail) in Outlook 2016 when AVG VPN is enabled. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I have tried changing the location in AVG VPN which made no difference.

Ammendment to my previous reply:

I can now access my Gmail account however I still cannot access my Internet provider account. The following are the POP settings my provider uses:

POP Settings:
Incoming mail server (POP): pop.xxxxxx.net
Port: 110
SSL required: No
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtpa.xxxxxx.net
Port: 2225
Authentication required: Yes
TLS / SSL required: No

Yes I am able to acccess ISP when VPN is disabled. I tried re-installing VPD which made no difference.

Thank you for checking.

Are you able to access your internet service provider account after disabling AVG Secure VPN?

If yes, I suggest you to reinstall AVG Secure VPN and check if it fixes the issue.

No luck using port number 465 or 587 for the Outgoing server (SMTP).

Thanks a lot Bharath. Changing the location to Czech resolved the issue for me

Grant, could you contact the internet service provider and check whether there is any specific setting to be updated while using a VPN?

No luck with the provider. Only suggestion they made was to re-add the account in Outlook whihc made no diff.
