Gmail not working in Chrome after renewing AVG subscription

Hello Charles,
Are you able to access your Gmail account in another web browser? You could try to disable AVG Protection temporarily and check if you can access Gmail. Please let us know which version of AVG are you using to assist you further.

Recently renewed AVG subscription on home pc and after performing found gmail will not load in Chrome. Tried emptying cache as one posting on internet suggested. Any other suggestions?
