Google Chrome Blocked

It has been over a month and this issue hasn't been resolved, I've done eveything you suggeste except the offer to have a remote assistance which I am not comfortable with. This occured after an AVG Internet Security update last month. Other people have had the same thing happen. It's not my computer…and now AOL won't allow mail on the AVG Secure Browser except in the Basic version. I guess it's a moot point now to even complain.  John

Google Chrome blocked after update. Costed me 100.00 to fix it and it's still not working !!!

We'd recommend you keep the entire conversation in one threat to speed up the resolution.Generally you will face this issue due to multiple reasons for example, corrupted installation durring the update of the product due to any interruptions. To check this, please check the updates for your Windows computer and try reinstalling the Google Chrome. While checking reinstallation ensure to turn off the AVG. Certain times the browser update works in acordance to the PC update. 

Succeeding the reinstallation of Google Chrome, turn on AVG and check the browsing in Chrome. Let us know the computer update and reinstall helped.

I am shocked to know about your troubleshooting results.
I suggest you to check updates for your computer and try reinstalling the Google Chrome. While checking reinstallation ensure to turn off the AVG. Certain times the browser update works in acordance to the PC update.

It wasn't a Chrome update that caused the problem, it only occured after the AVG internet security update. A computer specialist could't fix the problem, Chrome only worked after I diabled HTTPS Scanning on AVG WEB Shield., but that doesn't solve the problem because now I'm running my computer without HTTPS Scanning on Web Shield. I have seen other customers having the same problem. I don't want to lose AVG but what good is it if it doesn't protect 100%. John
