Google Chrome was my preferred browser until December 2014 when I accepted an update suggestion from AVG Free. It updated to the 2015 version. Ever since that update I have not been able to use Chrome. It crashes before it ever gets open. It shows an error message that says that Chrome was not able to open. I uninstalled and re-installed Chrome but that has not fixed the problem. Today I accepted another update suggestion, again to update to 2015. I hoped that Chrome would now be able to work, but it still crashes before starting.
How can I get Chrome working again? Does AVG Free not allow the use of Chrome?
