Google Chrome virus?

I use Google Chrome. Get 2 shortlived balloons saying AVG Safeprice and Adobe Acrobat have crashed, please click to add extension. Have just run full AVG scan and updated Acrobat. Am VERY suspicious. Any ideas please?
