Hacker attacks protection keeps turning itself off

As the topic title says…
I tend to use 'Hibernate' at night, rather than shut down my Windows 10 PC, and I use NordVPN (I've had it for longer than AVG has been offering its own VPN and see no reason to change).  Could the combination of the two things be causing this?  I only notice that the hacker attacks prevention has been turned off if I happen to look at the AVG internet security interface  for some other reason - AVG gives no warning that it's turned off this protection.

Any ideas, please? Should be most grateful.
