Hacker protection

Please follow the below steps and check if that fix the issue.

Open AVG Internet Security, go to Menu, Settings and then troubleshooting. Click on "Restore factory settings", this will enable the "Hacker Protection" component.

I have just repaired my AVG protection Enhanched Firewall as instructed and been told this has been done successfully.
But every time I switch on my AVG system is still telling me that Hacker Protection is not switched on.
Can anyone tell me why, and how this is resolved, please?
