I just had an e-mail claiming to be from AVG and all the links appearing genuine, but it didn't use anything personal to me in the text. It refers to a new security update for AVG Tune Up and provided me with a new activation key I had to install. I haven't done anything yet because I need to be sure it's not a phishing e-mail. If it's genuine, I'm quite disappointed that AVG - of all organisations - didn't make our the e-mail to my name and use some of my personal details to confirm the source. If it IS a phishing e-mail, the links it goes to are showing as being avg.com
