Why does no one answer at AVG customer service? I’ve been trying for 2 days and no answer after 30 mins on hold.What gives? I’ve tried both the phone and chat options to no avail.
I didn’t receive a notice that my free trial was ending and I was charged the full price. I tried to cancel on their website but it said my subscription would continue until 2026. I do not want this. I want to cancel my driver updater and receive a full refund.
I may have to resort to my credit card company to resolve this. Makes me angry because I’ve been a long-time customer for years and their customer service used to be great.
Does anyone know if they have a Facebook page? Does anyone have any advice that would help me?

Me too! I’ve been trying since last week. But they sure took my money for an automatic renewal that they didn’t inform me they were taking

It is so frustrating trying to make contact. And to think that the chat feature is automated as a selling point but you can’t even get to chat with anyone

Contact the AVG business page on Facebook through Facebook messenger. I got my refund processed a few minutes ago since they actually answer you there, I’m going around the community posts to tell people since I was having the hardest time getting them to reply to me. Best of luck

R_Leota-- Arcanecide is correct. I went to their FB page and ‘followed them’ then messaged them thru FB messenger and received a very quick reply. They wanted me to include why I wanted to cancel and I blasted them on customer service. They also emailed me a survey and I gave all zeros or ones. They used to be a great company now they’ve gone completely off the rails. We will have to see if they resolve my issue satisfactorily.

This is what happens when humans get less and less involved. We are relying on Ai and bots to give us solutions. However life is not always 2+2=4. So we need a human to find a human solution. Im afraid this is the future folks.

Yesterday afternoon I went through Facebook messenger and messaged AVG directly. They responded within about 20 minutes and asked for the information they needed to verify my account, etc. and as of today I have my money back! Thank you to the people who said to do it that way!!!
