HELP - PC has slowed dramtically since updating AVG

Hello CJ,

This isn't the experience we want you to have and It shouldn't happen after updating AVG to the latest version.

I would request you to uninstall AVG from your computer and monitor the status.

I'm running AVG Internet Security ver 18.1.3044 and since updating a few months ago my PC is lagging ALL the time.  My HD is running all the time and I have bad mouse lag.  I also purchased PC Tuneup and ran everything trying to get it to run faster and it hasn't changed.  I completed a "repair" of the software and rebooted - still the same.  What is up with this new version?  I have been using AVG for YEARS - but I'm considering removing it at this point.  Anyone else having issues??
