Hi Sobechukwu,

GMER seems to be clean, detection is most likely caused by multiple real time protections in your PC(Spybot and K9).

Hi there.
I just discovered to my horror that AVG picked up a rootkit labelled Hidden application idle with a high seveity detection.
It requests a restart to complete the clean up process which I did.
After restart, I ran another rootkit scan and a different number of them were detected (initial number was 74 and its now 46).
A third restart and clean up turned up 62 of them.
I've read a lot of wierd things about Hidden application idle rootkit.
Any help will be appreciatied
