ok, thanks Akash. i checked the Menu>Settings>Update and have seen when it was last updated. As to the Manual Scan – I assume you mean the green "Scan Now" link that is on the main/first screen? As for the AVG "Reports" issue, I will keep looking; but, even though i'm on Windows 10 and have a related AVG file folder, it does not have the same name as your help screen suggests it should have (eg., "ProgramData/")…hope i've explained that clearly…
Hi Doreen,
We understand your concern, not to worry we will definitely help you with that. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. We would like to inform you that unfortunately, you cannot see the Scan Reports as it is not available in the latest version. But, you can see the Program and Virus Definitions Update information in Menu>Settings>Update. Also, we request you to run a Manual Scan on your computer once to see the upcoming scans.
Thank you.
Couple of questions: I'm using AVG Antivirus free (17.2.3419.0). In a previous AVG version, there was a screen where i could always see the log/history of scans (scheduled and otherwise), dates/times of updates, actions taken, even watch in real time as scans or updates were occurring. Can someone tell me where I can find this in version i am using? (2) When I click the "Anti Virus Free", then get the "you have basic protection" screen, i see at bottom left it indicates "Last computer scan: never" – yet, i have set up for weekly scheduled scans…but I can't tell if the weekly scans are actually taking place (I could always tell in the previous version of AVG if the weekly scan ran). Possibly related, I've set up that AVG "Reports" be appended but I've been unable to find those files on my system. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I did some digging on my own. All of AVG's logs are located in the C drive, Program Data, AVG, Antivirus, Report, Weekly Scan.
Linda~
Hi Doreen,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Yes, we meant the "Scan Now" button that is available in the Main Screen. Also, as we have previously mentioned you cannot see the Scan Reports as it is not available in the latest version. Thank you for understanding.
Thank you.
