How can I remove avgclear from Windows 10?

Hello Fred,

We request you to boot your windows 10 computer in normal mode.
Press Windows and R keys together to open Run command.
In Run window, type as "msconfig" without the quotes and press Enter key.
In 'system configuration' window, click on "Boot" tab.
If AVG clear is listed, click on it and click on 'Delete' option.
Click on Apply and Ok. Restart the computer and it shouldn't show "AVG Clear" then.
Keep us posted.

Hi,
I could not remove AVG Free from my Windows 10 so I downloaded and installed avgclear.
That worked OK but now I get two options displayed on the screen before Windows boots, either Windows 10 or avgclear.
How can I get rid of the avgclear option so that Windows boots normally?
It does not show in the list of installed programs.
