How can you get AVG to stop pestering you and interrupting what you're doing with constant messages?

Please mention the name of AVG program installed on your PC and mention whether it is free, trial or paid version.
Also let us know what kind of popups that you get from AVG. Is it buy now, renew or campaign popups to try other AVG products?

AVG keeps interrupting me when I'm trying to get work done, probably about twenty times a day.  Something needs to be fixed.
