How do I add more shortcuts below the search window?

Colin, you can change the search engine via the browser settings. Follow the below steps to change the search engine.
Open AVG Secure Browser –> click menu icon (three vertical dots) at the top right corner –> select Settings and locate the Search Engine tab to change it.

A few shortcut icons appear below the search window on the AVG browser home page.  At first there was a clickable message which said "Add more (or another)"  I now have 2 rows of shortcut icons but cannot add more.  What is the process?

I have ther same problem as Jean and I guess a lot of other users do as well. Balasubramanian, how can you be "unsure" of the AVG browser home page - it's fundamental. Let me explain so you will understand. When you start the AVG browser it's the very first page that shows and contains the search bar.

When I intially started the browser there were two or three shortcuts preinstalled beneath the search bar and I had the opportunity to add more. I now have eight but cannot find a way to add more. The facility seems to have been blocked. Why is this?

Please sort it and help a lot nof users.

Hi Colin,

AVG Secure Browser home page can be changed and we are unsure of the homepage referred in the earlier message.
This is the reason why we have requested screenshot to confirm the query. From you description, we assume that you are referring to Google homepage shortcuts.
Google homepage will add the most visited websites as shortcuts below the search bar. We can also add this shortcuts manually. The maximum number of shortcuts is 10.
If the shortcut tab is full, you can add bookmarks for more websites. Click the star icon in the right side of the search bar to add bookmarks.

Hi Bharath,

Thanks for that. If I do a search via the search bar on the browser home page the answers appear on the Bing site. I didn't link it to Bing and I didn't know you could select a search engine of your choice.

I had already worked out the maximum shortcuts below the search bar is 10 and deleting one allows you to add another. Yes I do use bookmarks but having your favourites graphically shown below the search bar when you open up is so much more convenient.
