John / Zbynek, Tried the link again this morning & initially saw the same as John. Copied & pasted link to a new tab & low & behold the £14.99 webpage came up. Returned to the Community & clicked on the link & it's now showing the £14.99 webpage.

I had tried with my mobile phone and windows 7 pc but both have been firefox. I have now tried both mobile and a lubuntu chromium version with the same results of £40, private browsing or otherwise. Maybe an AVG cookie does this to me?

The new link you sent me gives a purchase price roughly treble the offer of $19.99. Are telling me AVG are ripping off UK purchasers? I hope not!

John, Out of interest tried your link & it came up with the location us-en. Changed this to gb-en & it transfers exactly to the same link provided by Zbynek with the same £ figures.

Well that is not good news for UK citizens - we know we have had this problem for years - US prices charged as £ instead of $, therefore nearly doubling the price, but this seems far worse an issue as it is treble the cost to the rest of the world. In the long run not including the UK in the offer on equal terms will damage AVG reputation in the UK. It was an offer, a very good one, not a standard price one. The only reasonable excuse is that they are about to run an equally good offer for the UK. It was also very frustrating to try and make the purchase, but even more time consuming to raise the issue. Thanks for your help Alan!
