How do I get rid of SearcchDirect

Dorothy, No AV product is capable of providing you with 100% protection although AVG are always working 24/7.

AVG would recommend to start with uninstalling all unknown/unused programs and browser addons.

I keep getting reports of a potention threat from SearchDirect.  I have edited my registry and removed all references to Conduit and SearchDirect.  I have reset the System Information folder .  There is no installed program shown in Control Panel that matches Conduit or SearchDirect.  How do I get rid of it?
