How do i get rid of the llstny initiated phishing attacks?

I have a popup below my browser bar that triggers a phishing attack when I close it with the (x) in the corner.  Closing it causes two new windows to open, each attempting to download "java updates" even though my java has been updated directly from Oracle.  The two screens are often solid red with a warning that a phishing attack is taking place.  I tried to see what AVG said about the the llstny.com (that initiates these pop ups)  and they say it's safe.  I tried to navigate to the site since it was deemed safe, and it won't open.  AVG is not identifying it as a threat, and for every minute spent on line, I spend about 20 seconds trying to stop the attacks.  What on earth do I do, cause I can't for the life of me figure this out.

It seems I may have this same virus.  I am sorry to say that so far, the only response I am getting from AVG is to buy another product from you.  I bought AVG TuneUp, then AVG2014 (I think it was?) which I then upgraded to a 2-year licence for AVG2015 and now I am being advised to spend $79.99 for remote access so AVG can then remove this virus.  Does that sound like a 'good deal' for the customer?  Not to me. AVG2015 is not detecting it, it is almost impossible to open Google Chrome because it is so slow and loaded with pop-up after pop-up after pop-up so I cannot search 'remove llstny'. Help please.
