How do I get to AVG Antivirus settings?

When I start AVG from my desktop shortcut, all I get is a "You're Protected!" message.  It then says "Open your Antivirus Free from here, with a Next button below it."  I click and nothing happens.  When I click on Next, it takes me to a screen encouraging me to get the paid features of AVG.

I can't find any screen that shows settings or status.  I have AVG installed on an older computer and it works find.
