How do I temporarily disable AVG Free on my Mac running Big Sur?

Open AVG AntiVirus free, click Computer or Web & Email tile on the interface and use the On/Off slider on each shield to turn them off temporarily.
If I may ask, what is the reason for disabling the protection?

I cannot answer your question on behalf of Chris. But I had the same question he wrote because my paid version of Internet Security - running on Big Sur - put all my mail accounts immediately offline after activating full protection. So it's useless for me.

When will there be an update working on 11.0.1 ?

I have AVG Internet Security v19.7 (aa7f071abb4e) installed. Last updated today.
