How is it possible to have a virus w/ my AVG protection?

Linda, No AV product is capable of providing you with 100% protection although AVG are always working 24/7.

I am now getting a Blue Screen, & my computer freezes & sometimes just Bang! SHUTS DOWNS!!, when I am on FaceBook. How can I have a Virus when my AVG is saying I am fully protected??
