I have received an email, confirming I have paid for password protection. Instructions to activate say 'Open connect menu' but I can't find it.  Other instructions say double click on AVG icon but  the same window appears, looking nothing like the one shown on the instructions.  It has 'My AVG' and 'Menu' at top right plus - and X, but no 'Connect' as shown on the instructions.  The logos shown below are completely different too, and I don't know how to get to 'Connect', as neither My AVG or Menu is of any help, nor any of the logos.  I have tried looking on Help, and asked a question, but get no response.  If I've paid for something, I should be told properly how to activate it, without a lot of time-wasting!
