How to cancel 60-day upgrade to Full Protection

Thank you, Santhosh. It appears that I must uninstall the program just as the trial period for the Full protection ends and then install the Basic level of the program again. Or should I uninstall the program immediately, before the trial period officially ends?

Hi Mark,

I see from your record that the automatic renewal for AVG Secure VPN is already cancelled. You will not be charged by AVG automatically in the future.

Today, December 14, I received a reminder that my "subscription" (free 60-day trial) will terminate in 14 days and that I should renew my subscription to continue the  protection of my Mac. I was given three choices regarding lengths of available subscriptions, but nowhere was I allowed to simply CANCEL the trial and return to the free basic coverage that I've enjoyed for the last five years. I do not, at this time, wish to continue the full coverage, I simply want to return to basic coverage.

I would be most grateful if, in the absence of a convenient UNSUBSCRIBE button, someone in billing would just cancel the trial for me before it expires.

Other customers, I see, have posted the same problem: NO WAY TO CANCEL, and they have been thankful that AVG has immediately made the cancellation for them. I do hope that your billing department extends the same courtesy to me.

Mark, once the trail subscription is expired your AVG Secure VPN wont be able to protect the onlne privacy.

If you install the AVG AntiVirus free version, it will provide you the basic protection.

Thank you so much for your help, Karthikeyan. I just hope that at the expiration of the 60-day trial my Basic level AVG protection returns without my having to uninstall it and reinstall it.
