How to cancel scheduled scans

I need to cancel the scheduled scans. I uninstalled AVG. The scans still kept running.
I set the AVG to the default settings. Then I restarted the computer. The scans are still running.
I tried uninstalling AVG again and it reappeared after restarting the computer.

To stop the schedule scan, please follow the steps below.

1. Open AVG Internet Security application.
2. Click on three dots
3. Click on schedule scan
4. Then, select the frequency as 'Never'
