When I run 1-click maintenance, it finds quite a number of problems on the browser. On REPAIR, the program asks me to close the browser, otherwise the problems are not repaired. I had not opened the browser at all, but it turned out to be checked on the startup menu of MSCONFIG. I unchecked it, rebooted the comuter and 1-click maintenance did repair the problems. However, next day I found it checked again. How can I disable the automatic checking on the MSCONFIG startup menu?
The problem isn't with Chrome, it's with TuneUp. Try something better like CCleaner.
I think it's in your browsers setting. Option to turn on when windows start. So whenever you start that browser, it changes your msconfig boot up list automatically.
